Naqshbandi silsila books

Getting off at the New Delhi Metro station I hired a cycle rickshaw, who very confidently said he knew where it was. Thinking that maybe the main entrance was elsewhere I entered. Somehow I missed reading the name on the gate: all i read was Buland Darwaza. As I set inside I saw a family living inside the compound amongst the graves.

Since I had already come here I decided to pay my respects and i am glad I did. The beautiful mosque and Dargah gladdened my heart. Hazrat Baqi Billah was the sufi saint responsible for establishing the Naqshbandi silsila or order in India. He was popularly known as Baqi Billah. Spiritual from birthhe became inclined towards Sufism and travelled through C.

Asia to India. He saw Khawaja Baha-ud-Din Nashbandi bestowing spiritual favours on him. On his way to Mavara-ur-Nahr he dreamt that Hazrat Khawaja Amkangi was calling him and waiting for him anxiously.

So, he went to see him at his abode and stayed there for three days. Khawaja Amkangi blessed him with his Khilafat spiritual caliphate and said:. Though he knew it was a difficult task he set out for Delhi to fulfil the task given to him. He established and strengthened the Naqshbandi silsila in India. Old and frail, Pir Sahab as he is known as looked very spiritual and serene and I was very impressed by his personality.

Though he was preparing for namaz he very kindly took me around and patiently answered my questions, even posing for this photograph. The mosque is very beautiful and very well maintained. There are no crowds of supplicants or those begging and it is a place of solitude and meditation. This photo the moment in it I saw in a dream many years ago before I saw the photo, in the dream when they sat down Allah made us sit down with them, its meaning is Allah is going to make us one of the Shuyukh of the Tariqah.

This is not the first time the Naqshbandi silsila has been passed on spiritually, between Abu Yaqub Yusuf al-Hamadani q and Abdul Khaliq al-Ghujdawani q there is Sayidinah al-Khidr q and about 5 generations, because Abu Yaqub q took it from al Khidr and not a living shaykh, because of this early stage in the silsila this is the same origin of every Naqshbandi tariqah on earth, we alhamdulillah took the tariqah from Rasul Allah saws directly and it was He saws who over saw our education.

On that night after I took from the prophet saws I was placed in this silsila, Allah wanted us to make tasawwur of every shaykh in it take in the state of their heart into oursit is the way of spirituality that the shuyukh who have passed on help guide those who are still on earth, here is one of our experiences soon after Shaykh Adnan Kabbani q passed away.

He did not meet with him physically because there were five shaykhs between them in the Golden Chain. Similarly Sayyidina Abul Hasan al-Kharaqani took spiritual guidance and initiation in the Naqshbandi Order from the spiritual presence of Bayazid Bistami. In this form of spiritual transmission, the spirits meet in the world called calam al-arwah the world of spirits which is beyond calam al-ajsam the material plane.

Whoever takes knowledge through spirituality from a deceased Master in the Naqshbandi Way, is called both Uwaisi and Naqshbandi. That spiritual connection is as powerful and effective as the physical connection. The sign of the Favor of Allah Almighty and Exalted on his servant is to authorize one of His saints to uplift that servant to the Divine Presence. That is why many saints who came in previous times were guides for those who came after through this spiritual Uwaysi connection.

It is known that many saints have been under the guidance and training of prophets and other saints that lifted them up. It is known that Sayyidina Ahmad al-Faruqi, in addition to the spiritual power he was receiving from Shah Naqshband, was also receiving spiritual support and power from Sayyidina cAli r.

These are the shaykhs of the Naqshbandi Order mentioned by Shaykh cAbdullah ad-Daghestani, who have, in addition to their physical connection, received the Uwaisi connection.

They are known as the Shaykhs of the Two Wings Dhul Janahainmeaning that both the physical lineage and the spiritual lineage are combined in them. These saints are only nine in number. Each one represents one of the nine spiritual points on the chest of the human being. Through these points these saints can reach their followers at any time. Because they have the authority of these nine points, they consider all of humankind to be their followers, whether they are aware of their spiritual connection to them or not.

Those who have the Barzakh removed from their sight always see the spiritual world and its creatures, it is here you find the face of Allah and His hand in the universe].

It is axiomatic that all Sufi paths lead to the Divine Presence. Differences also stem from the unique individualities of the great luminaries who imprinted each of the Tariqats — May Allah be pleased with all of them! There are also some differences of approach.

Such practices may include repetition of many thousands of holy phrases, sometimes connected with breathing exercises and often with physical movements. And I have drawn Faiz and taken permission from my beloved Shaykh's Rooh spirit.

There is a gap of about years between me and my esteemed Shaykh. I followed this same Awaisi Tareeqa to acquire Faiz from my Shaykh's spirit, and was also blessed with the Khilafat. Thanks to Allah, my beloved Shaykh's Faiz is now spreading to all corners of the world. In the Sufi terminology, the acquisition of Faiz from the spirit is known as Awasi Tareeqa also spelled as Owaisia.

Rather, Awaisia actually means to acquire Faiz from Rooh. So, it may be said that he was the first Awais. In a nutshell, just like water remains present underground, and springs forth sometimes to irrigate the land, in the same way true Tasawwuf and Sulook the Islamic Sufi path also disappears underground sometimes. Then, Allah SWT creates a special person, and the spring of Tasawwuf and Sulook gushes forth through that person, cultivating the hearts of masses.

This is the reason Silsila Awaisia is not connected on the surface. But it is connected in the spiritual world. The writing by the Imam of Hind Hazrat Shah Waliullah shows that Awaisiah is the most effective Silsila, because it is connected spiritually.

The next most powerful Silsila is Qadria. The receivers of Faiz through Awaisia Silsila hold a special stature. On page 63 he states that Owaisiah Order is indeed a world of spirits. And on page 21 he writes So did one of the greatest saints of Indian subcontinent, namely Shaikh Badr-ud-Din". The above explanation shows that Share on Twitter Share. Share on LinkedIn Share.
